The original kitchen had a tile floor and white accents which created a modern aesthetic. The refrigerator was set into a partial wall separating the kitchen from the rest of the living space.
The redesigned kitchen features wood flooring which warms up the space. The refrigerator is now built in along the interior wall. There is a wraparound counter top with an extra sink and storage, while retaining open sight lines.
