The foundation of Good Builders Inc. was laid long before the first shovel hit the ground. Our President, Stephen Good, launched his first venture at age 15—a firewood service called “Good Wood”—sparking a lifelong commitment to local service. After earning a finance degree from Bentley University and working in the financial sector, Stephen returned to his true passion: building. He completed his first spec home in 1987, marking the official start of Good Builders Inc.

While the company began in land development, a custom project in Falmouth in the late ’90s redefined our mission. Today, we are proud to be one of Cape Cod’s premier custom builders, specializing in high-end waterfront residences.

As we look ahead, the legacy continues. Stephen is now joined by his son, Jake Good, who brings an M.B.A. and a background managing multi-million dollar commercial projects in Boston. Together, they blend decades of local wisdom with modern project management expertise, ensuring every home is built with the precision and transparency that has defined the Good name for nearly 40 years.
